What we write about

Legitimate ways to earn extra money online in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand: surveys, research studies, website testing and small online tasks. We also cover the scams that target people looking for this work.

How we check facts

• Every fact about a site comes from that site’s own help pages or terms, or from official consumer-protection agencies such as the FTC, Scamwatch, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, NCSC New Zealand and UK government sources.
• Every guide shows the date we checked it, and we re-check our main tables every month.
• When a site won’t let us confirm something, we say so instead of guessing.

What we don’t do

• Invent personal experiences, earnings, test results or testimonials.
• Claim qualifications we don’t have.
• Accept payment to rank or praise a site.

How we make money

Some pages may include affiliate links, which pay us a commission if you sign up. When a page has them, we say so at the top. Our guides to spotting scams never carry affiliate links.
